About The Position

This is an 11-week full-time internship opportunity for Summer 2027, starting on May 24th, 2027, and concluding on August 4th, 2027. It is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days per week in the Hartford, CT office and 2 days per week working remotely. The internship is designed to provide interns with challenging opportunities to learn and grow professionally within a culture of continuous improvement aimed at improving healthcare. Interns will participate in projects that contribute to business success, community service activities, professional development workshops, mentorship, networking opportunities, and interaction with senior leaders. The role offers an hourly rate of $26/hr with 40 hours/week, includes a company holiday on July 4th, and two days of paid leave. There is an increased likelihood for corporate interns to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health. Sponsorship for work visas, including CPT, OPT, and F-1 programs, is not available for this role. The Executive Management Office (EMO) serves as a strategic partner to ACS leadership, supporting the execution of organizational priorities through business operations, change management, communications, workforce planning, and culture initiatives. The EMO team collaborates across functions to drive alignment, improve organizational effectiveness, and assist leaders in implementing strategic initiatives. They manage executive priorities, strengthen communication, support employee engagement, and prepare teams for change, ultimately improving collaboration, accountability, and business performance.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and June 2028
  • Major relevant to the position such as Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Supporting change management initiatives through stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and adoption planning
  • Developing communication materials including leadership updates, presentations, FAQs, and employee communications
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of employee engagement, culture, and recognition initiatives
  • Building project management skills through meeting coordination, action tracking, documentation, and status reporting
  • Analyzing survey results, stakeholder feedback, and organizational metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Supporting training and adoption activities through the development of training materials, job aids, and feedback collection processes
  • Creating reports, dashboards, and presentation materials that communicate project progress and business outcomes
  • Collaborating with leaders and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and organizational change efforts
