About The Position

The Learning and Development Specialist is a talent development professional with instructional design and facilitation experience. Responsibilities include conducting new hire orientation as well as designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating learning opportunities for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Three (3) years of experience in talent development role
• Three (3) years of experience in classroom learning delivery and facilitation
• Experience in instructional design following a solution-oriented approach

• Ability to be highly diplomatic in dealing with clients, even in stressful situations
• Experience in managing large group facilitations, including new hire orientation within a healthcare setting
• A high level of professionalism in all interactions under all circumstances
