About The Position

The UCPath Organizational Consultant is an experienced professional responsible for resolving a wide variety of organizational issues and situations. This role is instrumental in managing UCPath operations at UCI central support teams and campus and UCIH transactor/user community. The consultant supports large-scale, complex initiatives, including UCPath Roadmap projects and Service Now integrations, aiming to reduce institutional risk affecting payroll accuracy, compliance, and employee experience. The position requires proficiency in identifying and resolving moderate to complex organizational issues and supports VC HR, CFO, and Provost priorities by enabling scalable HR operations, improving campus readiness for system and policy changes, and proactively addressing complex organizational issues across academic and administrative units. The role typically operates with little direct instruction on planning, researching, and resolving organizational effectiveness issues, with general guidance provided for new or unique assignments. The consultant demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Problem solving, process analysis, HR,Payroll Systems

  • Has thorough knowledge of the organizational development and effectiveness field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational interventions.
