About The Position

Power Digital is seeking an Organic Social Media Strategy Intern to join their team for the Fall 2026 term. This is a hands-on internship designed for current college students enrolling in an internship course for college credit. The intern will gain real-world digital marketing experience in a fast-paced environment, learning the intricacies of social media platform strategy and how various components contribute to brand success. The role is pivotal in supporting the Social team through content calendar management, executing social media strategies, contributing creative ideas, engaging on social media accounts, and analyzing social trends and analytics. This opportunity is ideal for a quick learner with a positive attitude who is eager to learn about the evolving social landscape and gain experience at a digital agency.

Requirements

  • Social media experience working across multiple social channels (Including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google My Business)
  • Working toward or recently received a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and reliability
  • Strong writing and grammar skills
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute to an evolving department in San Diego’s second-fastest-growing company
  • Must be enrolled in a college course for college credit

Responsibilities

  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
  • Execute content calendars including copywriting, strategic planning, and creative ideation, aligning with the brand's voice and objectives
  • Craft engaging and on-brand copy for social media posts, adhering to best practices for each platform
  • Regularly monitor social media performance using analytics tools, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance strategies
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and content decisions
  • Actively participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and project coordination to contribute creative ideas and insights
  • Manage workload efficiently, working independently to ensure tasks and projects are completed on time and in line with client or brand objectives
