We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Organ Health Specialist (OHS) – Abdominal Transplant to join our rapidly growing Organ Health Sales team. In this role, you won't just be managing a territory—you will be championing a shift in how transplant patients are cared for across the Deep South and Delta regions. By cultivating deep clinical relationships with transplant centers, nephrologists, and surgeons, you will drive the adoption of our cutting-edge diagnostic and genetic testing portfolios. Prospera: Our advanced, non-invasive donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) blood test designed to detect early signs of transplant rejection.
Renasight: A comprehensive genetic testing panel that identifies hereditary causes of kidney disease, allowing for early, precise intervention.

As an Organ Health Specialist – Abdominal Transplant, you will drive sales and adoption of Prospera, a non-invasive blood test for transplant patients. This role focuses on transplant centers, where the OHS will engage with transplant specialists, and key decision-makers to integrate Prospera into clinical practice. In addition to Prospera you will also promote Renasight, a genetic test that identifies potential genetic causes of kidney disease and assesses hereditary risks. This high-impact, competitive role demands a strategic sales approach, strong client relationships, and deep expertise in the transplant market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive, high-performance sales experience.
• A proven track record in transplant diagnostics, transplant therapeutics (specialty pharma), or advanced laboratory-developed tests (LDTs).
• Proven critical thinkers with a track record of solving complex clinical and logistical sales challenges.
• Must exhibit the strategic agility required to manage a diverse, multi-state geography with varying institutional protocols.
• Existing, verifiable relationships with transplant surgeons, nephrologists, or coordinators within GA, MS, AL, AR, TN, or LA is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience successfully launching novel clinical products and building brand loyalty in a highly competitive market.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive sales experience, ideally in lab-developed tests, diagnostics, or transplant-related specialties.
• Deep understanding of transplant settings or similar specialty medicine.
• Existing relationships with KOLs in transplant or similar fields preferred.
• Proven track record of closing deals, driving growth, and building strong client relationships.
• Experience launching new products and building a brand in the transplant market.
• Comfortable in a startup-like setting with strong initiative, self-motivation, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative, independent approach to overcoming challenges.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Ideally, candidates should be centrally located near a major airport hub within the region (e.g., Atlanta, Birmingham, Memphis, or Little Rock).

Responsibilities

• Exceed regional sales goals by integrating Prospera and Renasight into the standard protocol of leading transplant centers and academic medical institutions across the territory.
• Develop and execute data-driven business plans tailored to the unique, multi-state dynamics of the Southeast medical landscape.
• Successfully pivot strategies to capitalize on shifting market trends, account protocols, and competitor movements.
• Analyze complex account workflows, billing hurdles, and clinical barriers within major transplant centers to deliver tailored, solution-oriented presentations to high-level decision-makers.
• Serve as a trusted scientific partner, educating key stakeholders on the clinical utility, data, and health economics behind our genetic testing solutions.
• Identify, build, and maintain meaningful partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the abdominal transplant space to amplify Natera's clinical presence.
• Work seamlessly with internal clinical teams, medical science liaisons (MSLs), and managed care to ensure seamless onboarding and a world-class client experience.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals through strategic sales initiatives, relationship-building, and effective territory management.
• Drive market adoption of transplant-focused genetic testing solutions by educating and engaging key stakeholders, including transplant specialists, nephrologists, and academic medical centers.
• Leverage industry expertise to establish credibility and effectively position genetic testing solutions within the transplant ecosystem.
• Develop and execute tailored business plans that align with sales objectives, optimize resources, and address unique market dynamics in transplant and specialty medicine.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in transplant and related specialties to enhance brand visibility and market influence.
• Navigate complex sales environments with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, demonstrating initiative, urgency, and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Represent the company with professionalism and technical expertise, staying up to date on advancements in genetic testing, laboratory diagnostics, and the transplant landscape.
• Work independently while collaborating cross-functionally to drive business growth and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
