About The Position

A2Z Workforce is hiring experienced Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operators for a fast-paced warehouse in South Phoenix. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected company offering great long-term benefits once hired on. The role involves operating forklifts, loading/unloading tires and auto parts, using RF scanners, and working at heights. Team members must be able to lift significant weight, work on their feet for extended periods, and adhere to all safety policies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
• 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 120 pounds
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 50 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
• Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
• Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
• Ability to pass forklift certification
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (marijuana/thc is included in the drug screen)
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Truck and Cherry Picker forklifts
• Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts
• Use RF scanners for inventory and product placement
• Lift up to 60 lbs. consistently and up to 120 lbs. occasionally
• Work at heights up to 26 feet, must be comfortable working at these heights while safely operating equipment.
• Be on the move. You should be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed.
• Contribute to the safety culture, ensuring that you adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs.
• Work overtime as required
