About The Position

Collectors is hiring an Order Processor (Receiving and Shipping Clerk) for its Operations team. The role is based in the Jersey City, New Jersey office and reports to the Operations Supervisor, DNA. The successful candidate will process incoming submissions and outgoing orders, including sorting mail, verifying items and service details, entering orders, and preparing shipments. Travel may be required for trade shows. Candidates must be available to work the 7:45 AM–4:15 PM shift and be willing and able to work overtime.

Meet the physical requirements of the position, including bending, twisting, squatting, computer use, regular hand use, hearing alarms and instructions, receiving and potentially inspecting submissions, using a sharp blade, and sitting or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Open, separate, and itemize department mail by service type.
Match, count, and check items.
Type and print LOO/LOAs.
Verify service type against payment and confirm eligibility.
Enter items and print stickers.
Sort orders by return-carrier service.
Verify that orders are correct and complete.
Package orders in mailing-box containers, seal them with tape, and attach outside labels.
Process shipping for the specified return carrier and close orders.
Travel as required for trade shows.
