About The Position

This role involves packing orders accurately according to specific instructions and company goals. The Order Packer will be responsible for ensuring the correct items are picked and packed, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean work area. This position also includes training new team members.

Requirements

Warehouse pick/pack experience.
Must be able to use tape gun, tape up carton/bag and RF scan gun.
Teamwork and Cooperation.
Must be reliable/dependable and have excellent attendance.
Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. on a continual basis.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pack orders according to Working Order or by the queue system.
Read & follow special instructions to pick and pack orders.
Double check product to ensure inventory and item picked are accurate based on the working order.
Communicate and work with Team Leader regarding out of stock items, substitutions, product without packaging, or misplaced products.
Prioritize work to meet daily shipping goals.
Match the working order and invoice, ensuring carton labels or UPS and FEDEX labels match.
Prepare orders for shipping, including placing shipping labels and stacking/wrapping cartons on pallets.
Move pallets to a designated area if shipment is not going out on the same day.
Help maintain a clean work area.
Train new order pickers.
