About The Position

As an Order Management Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by reviewing incoming new orders and backlog orders to determine qualification for insurance billing requirements. You will collaborate with internal sales teams, customer service representatives, hospital partners, customers, and patients to obtain required documentation and support order fulfillment. You will provide professional customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will research and interpret payer requirements and clinical documentation to determine patient eligibility for services. You will communicate patient financial responsibilities and resolve complex order-related issues while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of customer service experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Three (3) years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Experience researching, reviewing, and interpreting documentation to support customer orders or service eligibility determinations.
  • Experience communicating with customers, patients, healthcare providers, or third-party payers regarding service requirements and financial responsibilities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) or more years of healthcare, medical billing, reimbursement, insurance verification, or related healthcare support experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Experience working with insurance payer requirements and healthcare documentation.
  • Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting patients requiring complex or time-sensitive healthcare services.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment while maintaining high productivity and attention to detail.
