As our Order Management Specialist I, you will be the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that even our most complex purchase orders are handled with accuracy, speed, and care. Rather than just processing paperwork, you will be an integral partner in shaping our success by turning challenging orders into seamless transactions and ensuring every customer walks away highly satisfied. In this dynamic role, you will act as our go-to expert to investigate issues and innovate smarter, smoother workflows for our shipping, invoicing, and processing systems. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and training, a plus
• Minimum of two (2) years of order entry and customer service experience in a complex environment, while contributing in a growing capacity
• Enjoys order entry and has very strong data entry skills
• Self-motivated with a knack for being meticulous/detailed oriented
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment; learns and synthesizes information quickly
• Is adaptable and flexible
• Is a dependable professional who has great attention to detail
• Works quickly and efficiently with a high degree of quality
• Is comfortable on the phone
• Has excellent follow-up, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Ability to analyze a problem, solicits input to seek alternative solutions, and recommend/implement solutions
• Capability to engage in constructive conflict resolution
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve workflow problems
• Experience collaborating and communicating with sales leaders across the organization

Responsibilities

• Performs order entry according to standard operating procedures and Company same day shipping goal
• Responds to customers promptly via phone and email
• Documents conversations concisely yet with enough detail that others can understand what transpired upon review
• Effectively responds to and prioritizes multiple requests for service from customers and colleagues alike
• Collaborates with the Distribution Center, Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc. as directed by the Leadership team
• Provides training and guidance to the Order Management Specialists
• Interacts and engages with Operations and Shipping departments to resolve shipment issues and ensure orders and products are shipping on time and accurately
• Proactively communicate issues back to management and follow order management processes
• Assist in developing workflow improvement, including process
• Appropriately escalates more complex and/or sensitive customer issues to the Leadership Team
