About The Position

The Order Generator and Estimator supports MetroKraft Interiors by receiving customer inquiries, preparing quotes and order paperwork, and coordinating order and installation details. The role works with sales representatives, project managers, service technicians, schedulers, and installers to prepare and revise drawings, track materials and parts, and help complete orders. It also assists with reporting and scheduling and performs estimating and 20/20 design work. The position is non-exempt and based in an office environment, where tight deadlines may occur.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Receive customer inquiries and calls and direct them appropriately.
Price and quote jobs using drawings from sales representatives.
Prepare the paperwork needed for complete orders.
Prepare installation packages.
Support project managers and service technicians by responding to inquiries, tracking materials and specifications, and gathering customer specifications and selections.
Process and track parts through order completion.
Revise initial drawings and designs from sales representatives.
Coordinate with the installation scheduler to pre-schedule parts.
Coordinate with installers to confirm delivery completion and identify missing parts.
Track and process Job Completion Certificates.
Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as directed.
Assist with scheduling as directed.
Perform estimating and 20/20 design.
