About The Position

The Order Fulfillment team member performs general warehouse and order-picking activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving products from the sales floor to a staging area, using a handheld RF scanner to verify merchandise and update locations, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club.

The position requires timely and accurate order fulfillment in line with productivity targets, service-level agreements, and established operating procedures. The team member packages orders, helps maintain a clean and organized OMNI/SFC work area, handles damaged or spoiled goods and returns according to procedure, and communicates inventory, equipment, and replenishment issues. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

• Meet OMNI productivity expectations, including service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use a handheld RF scanner to pick and verify orders.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations as needed.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Complete orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, performance metrics, and service-level agreements.
• Follow established operating procedures and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and perform general housekeeping.
• Handle damaged goods, spoiled products, and returns according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Deliver friendly member service, address or escalate concerns, and help maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Work collaboratively, uphold daily GOLD member and club standards, and perform other duties or work in other departments as assigned.
