The Order Fulfillment team member performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves picking merchandise from sales-floor locations using a pick list and handheld RF scanner, verifying items and quantities, moving orders to a staging area, and securely packaging them according to standard operating procedures. The team member helps meet service-level agreements, productivity requirements, deadlines, and individual performance goals while communicating inventory or equipment problems and replenishment needs to the club team. The position also includes maintaining a clean, organized, and safe Omni/SFC work area; handling returns, damaged goods, and spoiled products according to procedures; following club policies and dress-code standards; and providing friendly, timely service to members. Team members are expected to collaborate, act with honesty and integrity, maintain regular predictable attendance, and perform other duties or work in other departments as assigned. Availability is needed for 20 hours per week, including both Saturday and Sunday. Shifts are primarily 2 p.m.–9 p.m., but may vary based on availability. The work is generally in a comfortable environment around moving machinery or loud equipment, with possible temperature extremes when pulling refrigerated orders and occasional exposure to company-approved cleaning agents. The job involves continuous movement on hard surfaces, frequent bending and other positioning to scan merchandise, and continuous lifting up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward items may require assistance.
