Order Fulfillment Part Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment team member performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld RF scanner, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, and operating equipment. The team member packages orders securely, meets productivity and service-level expectations, maintains the Omni and Ship from Club work areas, handles returns and damaged or spoiled goods according to procedures, and supports other departments as needed. The position requires regular, predictable, full attendance and a minimum availability of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Requirements

- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; lifting and moving heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds may be required with assistance.
- Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations as needed.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate team members.
- Coordinate with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
- Pick and package orders accurately and promptly, meeting productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, and performance metrics.
- Follow standard operating procedures and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized Omni and Ship from Club work area, including cleaning storage bins and removing trash and cardboard.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine whether to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
- Deliver friendly member service, address or escalate member concerns, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
