About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Specialist / Customer Service – Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary liaison between customers and the organization. In this role, you accurately process customer orders, respond to inquiries, and support sales activities with minimal supervision. You use company software systems to manage orders and collaborate closely with field sales representatives on customer needs, joint visits, contract pricing, and inventory management. Your focus is to ensure an efficient, high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a related customer service, inside sales, or order processing role.
  • Proven experience in order entry, order processing, order tracking, and fulfillment.
  • Working knowledge of sales order processing procedures.
  • Basic understanding of standard inventory practices and stock management.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle difficult situations professionally.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a strong teamwork orientation.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable, consistent follow-through and strong attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Windows, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Fast and accurate keyboarding skills for efficient data entry.
  • Experience supporting customers in manufacturing or semiconductor-related environments.

  • Semiconductor industry experience or familiarity with semiconductor-related products.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfort using standard office software and business systems to support customer service and sales activities.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use company-specific software systems for order management and inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders quickly and accurately, ensuring all details are complete and correct.
  • Send timely and accurate order confirmations to customers.
  • Generate and process customer quotes based on requests and established pricing guidelines.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain current pricing and delivery information.
  • Check pricing and stock levels as requested by customers and provide clear, accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives to review and support quote activity and customer opportunities.
  • Send customer quotes and direct-ship purchase orders to vendors and follow up as needed.
  • Provide outside sales with up-to-date price and stock information to support field activities.
  • Answer incoming sales department phone calls, respond to voicemail messages, and ensure prompt, professional follow-up.
  • Expedite customer orders when required and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to meet customer timelines.
  • Provide customers with tracking information for open orders and proactively communicate order status.
  • Assist customers by specifying appropriate product solutions based on their descriptions and application needs.
  • Print pick tickets for urgent or “hot” orders to support timely fulfillment.
  • Run pricing for BES items and ensure pricing accuracy within company systems.
  • Use company software systems to support order entry, order tracking, and fulfillment activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the sales and customer service functions.
