About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities and supports BJ’s digital fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld RF scanner, moving merchandise to a staging area, and securely packaging orders. Associates help maintain efficient fulfillment, meet productivity and service-level expectations, follow operational procedures, and provide a safe, clean, and organized environment for members and coworkers.

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner, verify merchandise, and move it from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems and report expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
• Coordinate with club team members to replenish merchandise or pull it from the reserve area when possible.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and handle damaged or spoiled products according to procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
• Deliver friendly and courteous service, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive member experience.
• Work collaboratively, maintain a positive attitude, and support club standards and team goals.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, and full attendance.
