We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to join our team in Gastonia, NC. This position will be responsible for accurately entering and processing customer orders, maintaining records, working with internal departments, and helping ensure orders move smoothly through the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers and data, and has strong Microsoft Excel skills. Accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important in this position.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in order entry, data entry, administration, customer service, or a similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Professional, dependable, and positive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with order management or publishing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Review orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and update customer and order information
  • Use Microsoft Excel to organize, track, and manage data
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding orders and customer information
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information
  • Maintain organized records and documentation
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
  • Meet established deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Provide dependable support to the sales and operations teams
