SUMMARY: The Order Entry Representative II role builds on foundational order entry responsibilities by managing more complex orders, resolving escalated issues, and serving as a subject matter expert in systems and processes. Level II co-workers work with minimal supervision and are expected to manage high-priority or exception orders with professionalism and efficiency. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handle requests for specification sheets, stock checks, fab sheets, catalogs, and price sheets.
  • Assist with overflow of incoming phone calls by logging in to the ACD Phone Group 2
  • Process bin label requests
  • Assist with quotes and the quote department in preparation of quotes.
  • Assist with the handling via phone and e-mail, including requests from customers to check availability, price, and order status.
  • Process new part number request forms
  • Provide additional customer support by handling orders that require special instructions or follow-up steps.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including sales, customer service, and PIC to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Complete new customer setups
  • Record activities in CRM, such as logging certain types of phone calls, and update and reviewing other information in CRM as needed.
  • Coordinate with subsidiaries to strengthen operations and elevate customer experience
  • Prioritizes a people-first approach while maintaining efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Balances technical expertise with a service-oriented attitude
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Other Duties as assigned.
