About The Position

We are seeking an Order Entry Specialist to join our team, where we specialize in American-made medical equipment and laboratory products for various industries such as pathology, histology, necropsy, autopsy, and mortuary sectors. This role is critical as the current specialist is transitioning to a new opportunity, and we aim for a seamless handover through comprehensive training.

Requirements

Minimum 1+ year of experience in an office setting or clerical role.
ERP system experience, specifically Visual 11 or similar.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including Outlook email.
Ability to manage 3-4 email chains simultaneously.
Experience with purchase orders and order entry.
Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
Experience in a manufacturing company environment.

Ability to learn quickly and support the warranty and service team efficiently.

Responsibilities

Enter purchase orders (POs) into the system and manage an average of 50-60 orders daily.
Collaborate with a team to handle approximately 300+ emails per day, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
Operate within an ERP system, specifically Visual 11, but experience with any system similar to SAP is acceptable.
Send out purchase acknowledgements and tracking information as needed.
Assist with Amazon orders and manage incoming phone calls with professionalism.
Process credit card orders and utilize Microsoft Teams for communication.
Provide customer service support and follow-up, making up 20% of the role.
