Order Entry Platform Manager

Magis Capital Partners LL•Berwyn, PA
•$120,000 - $135,000•Hybrid

About The Position

This role owns the delivery, quality, and ongoing operation of FIDx’s hosted order entry platform, including the advisor-facing experience and custom suitability forms. Working closely with internal teams, iPipeline, carriers, and a third-party forms development partner, this person manages platform enhancements, forms development, releases, and production support to ensure a reliable, seamless advisor experience. Success requires strong execution, effective partner management, and the ability to drive accountability across multiple workstreams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience owning a software platform, product, or technical service — ideally in financial services, insurance, or wealth management technology.
  • Direct experience managing vendor or partner relationships, including service levels, roadmaps, and escalations.
  • Comfort owning quality and delivery outcomes without direct authority over the people doing the work — strong influence and accountability skills.
  • Familiarity with annuity, order entry, or AOE (agent/advisor order entry) platforms is a strong plus; familiarity with suitability requirements (FINRA Rule 2111, Reg BI, NAIC Suitability Model Regulation) is a plus.
  • Experience with production support processes: incident management, root cause analysis, and post-release review.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for both internal and carrier/firm audiences.
  • A bias toward execution: someone who can run multiple workstreams (build, vendor, forms, production support) at once without losing quality.
  • Interest in eventually building out the operational/financial side of a service model (budgeting, pricing, scalability).

Responsibilities

  • Own platform delivery and quality: Oversee the build, maintenance, testing, and release lifecycle for the hosted order entry platform and custom suitability forms, establishing consistent standards for quality and execution.
  • Manage the development roadmap: Partner with Product to prioritize carrier requirements, advisor experience improvements, and platform stability.
  • Lead vendor and partner relationships: Manage iPipeline and the third-party forms development partner, overseeing service levels, workloads, priorities, timelines, quality, and escalations.
  • Oversee forms development: Manage the service from requirements intake through scoping, development, testing, validation, and deployment, ensuring changes support a seamless advisor experience.
  • Coordinate carrier delivery: Serve as the primary carrier contact for forms management, testing, and delivery, ensuring requirements are understood and carriers remain accountable for the quality of their forms.
  • Align cross-functional work: Coordinate with Product, Implementations, Carrier Operations, and QA to keep development and partner activities aligned with FIDx’s priorities.
  • Lead production support: Drive incident resolution, root cause analysis, and timely fixes for the order entry platform to maintain platform reliability.
  • Maintain communication and documentation: Communicate enhancements and releases to internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, carriers and firms; maintain release notes, service processes, and post-release reviews to support visibility and continuous improvement.
