About The Position

Responsive recruiter We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to join our team. This is an in-office role focused on order entry, order processing, tracking numbers, vendor invoices, pricing updates, website item updates, and related system updates. Accuracy, dependability, and follow-through are very important in this position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in order entry, order processing, data entry, administrative support, or a similar role
  • Strong computer skills and comfort working in browser-based systems and Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive tasks
  • Good reading comprehension and clear written communication skills for internal notes and clarifying questions
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently and accurately in a structured environment

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update customer orders in our systems
  • Enter and update tracking numbers
  • Enter vendor invoices and related information
  • Update pricing and product information
  • Add and update items on the website
  • Review emails, order forms, invoices, and spreadsheets and extract the required details
  • Verify information for completeness and accuracy, including addresses, item numbers, quantities, pricing, and special instructions
  • Flag missing, inconsistent, or unclear information
  • Follow written procedures and checklists
  • Maintain organized digital records and clear internal notes
