About The Position

The Order Checker verifies the accuracy of products shipped from Publix facilities by Selectors. The responsibilities listed in the posting are not all-inclusive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time.
Obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations on or before the start date in the position.
Be able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds.
Be able to stand for long periods of time.
Be able to bend, stoop, and twist.
Be able to operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body exposed outside of the operator compartment.
Successfully complete the Basic Office Skills and Matching - Alphanumeric tests before the start date in the position.
Pass a Physical Agility Test before the start date in the position.
Be able to read, write, and solve math problems.
Be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions.
Have the ability to work well with others and be a team member.
Show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
Show commitment to Publix’s mission.

Holiday Bonus: 15 hours of pay in the first year of continuous employment, one week’s pay in the second year if still employed through the bonus check issue date, and two weeks’ pay in subsequent years.
$2.00 per hour weekend differential for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday and 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
