About The Position

Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Fort Pierce, FL, is seeking an Order Builder to join our team. The role involves working in a cooler environment with a range of job duties, including building orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment, manually lifting and moving product, and operating powered lift trucks, floor sweepers, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Frequently required to walk; climb or balance and taste or smell.
Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Comply with all environmental regulations including GMP’s, HACCP and OSHA
Maintain a clean and safe environment while observing all PPE standards and precautions.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as FDA standards.
Maintain high standards QA, QC, and sanitation for both machines and products.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment.
Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation.
Responsible for meeting productivity requirements and frequently exposed to fumes and loud noise from forklifts and trucks.
Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
Clean and repackage the damaged product, load full-service route trucks, and make sure the loads match the outgoing tickets.
Operate powered lift trucks, floor sweepers, pallet jacks and forklifts safely, with a 0% incident rate.
Notifies supervisor of unusual problems.
Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
Follows health and safety guidelines.
Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP.
Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications.
Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system.
Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system.
Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.
