Order Builder
About The Position
As a member of Swire Coca-Cola’s Warehouse team, the Order Builder helps ensure customers receive correct orders in a timely manner so their stores remain stocked. The role builds delivery loads by placing a variety of products onto pallets to fulfill customer orders in preparation for shipment and ensures accurate order fulfillment. Work takes place in a fast-paced warehouse environment, using powered industrial trucks and following warehouse safety standards at all times. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 3:00 PM and continuing until work is finished. The pay rate is $20.25 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after the hire date.
- Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; lifting may be repetitive.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
- Prior experience using a manual or powered pallet jack or a forklift.
Responsibilities
- Use voice-picking software and powered industrial equipment, such as a pallet jack and/or hand truck, to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallets.
- Build accurate, quality product orders and secure them for transport before loading into delivery trucks.
- Stage completed pallets in designated shipping areas.
- Inspect equipment daily and perform minor maintenance as needed to ensure safe operation.
- Complete required training.
- Restock products in picking areas as needed.
- Attend assigned meetings and assist with special projects and events.
