Provide support to the Oracle Systems & Support department, specifically the Benefits module. Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT application experience with large organizations with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions (retail/restaurant industry preferred).
  • 2+ years of proven technical experience with Payroll Oracle HCM SaaS applications including SQL, fast formulas, system analysis, implementation, and support.
  • Strong understanding of Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence and Benefits business processes and best practices with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for navigating change with positive attitude, helping clients define business solutions, and working effectively with IT senior management.
  • Prior experience working with vendors and 3rd party resources to manage deliverables with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated problem solver and driven team member comfortable working in remote team environment.
  • Proficient in working with large cross functional teams to define requirements, manage priorities, and execute planned initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills; problem solving and follow-through with sense of accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of interdependencies with payroll and other modules such as benefits, compensation and recruiting is highly desirable.
  • Oracle certification in HCM Cloud (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional and technical expert by supporting the Oracle Cloud HCM application suite, with primary focus on Payroll for US, Time & Labor, Absence Management.
  • Utilize Journeys, Business Rules, AI agents, workflow and other common modules to meet Brinker’s business requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize fast formulas to support complex payroll calculations, time calculation rules, absence accruals and other compliance requirements in workforce management.
  • Develop new and maintain existing Oracle BI Publisher reports using SQL to support payroll processing, reconciliation of time, absence & benefits, audit requests, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ability to create OTBI Reports to analyze employee data, identify trends, monitor system performance and deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, benefits and business partners to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement process improvements to support efficient processes.
  • Configure and thoroughly test application functionality across modules, including setup & maintenance, configuration modification and release upgrades.
  • Support the release management cycle for quarterly release upgrades from Oracle – review release notes, assess impact, coordinate regression testing and guide business users through upcoming changes and adoption of new features.
  • Participate in requirements gathering for both application changes and integration development.
  • Provide and update documentation as needed for new and existing applications such as configuration documentation, business process workflows, test scripts and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance, and information security standards.
  • Support the design, development, and end-to-end testing of integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and internal/external systems, ensuring data accuracy, seamless information flow, and reliable system performance.
  • Build knowledge of Oracle Cloud application roadmap to maintain strategic oversight in support of the business.
  • Ability to lead discussions and provide recommendations across both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
  • Work with other IT teams, functional partners and 3rd parties in support of HCM Application portfolio.
