About The Position

Maini Consulting is seeking an experienced Oracle Manufacturing Functional Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Oracle Manufacturing solutions. The role requires functional expertise in Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing, knowledge of manufacturing business processes and supply chain operations, and experience with ERP implementations. The consultant works with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technical resources to design and deploy solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, inventory control, production planning, and supply chain performance. The ideal candidate has a background in manufacturing operations, production planning, industrial engineering, or supply chain management and has transitioned into Oracle ERP consulting. They can bridge the gap between manufacturing stakeholders and technical teams while delivering Oracle ERP projects. The position is based in the United States and may be remote, with travel to client locations as needed. Compensation is based on experience.

Requirements

At least 5 years of Oracle ERP functional consulting experience.
At least 3 years of hands-on Oracle Manufacturing experience.
Experience with Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing.
Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes, including Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), Configure-to-Order (CTO), and Engineer-to-Order (ETO).
Experience with Bills of Material (BOM), routings, work orders, shop floor control, production scheduling, inventory management, and costing.
Ability to prepare functional design documents and solution specifications.
Experience supporting ERP implementation projects through the full lifecycle.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience with both Discrete Manufacturing and Process Manufacturing environments.
Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing implementation experience.
Experience integrating Oracle with MES, WMS, PLM, or third-party shop floor applications.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Oracle certifications preferred.
Experience in Aerospace, Medical Devices, Industrial Manufacturing, Chemicals, Consumer Products, or Automotive industries.
Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications in SCM, PLM, and/or Service Logistics.
Background in Baan ERP, JD Edwards, or SAP PP/MM followed by Oracle Manufacturing consulting.
Background as a manufacturing engineer or production planner who transitioned into Oracle functional consulting.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements from manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders.
Design, configure, and implement Oracle Manufacturing solutions.
Lead workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, and business process mapping exercises.
Configure and support Oracle Manufacturing, Work in Process (WIP), Bills of Material (BOM), Inventory, Cost Management, Engineering, Quality, Planning (ASCP/MRP), and Order Management modules.
Develop functional specifications for integrations, reports, extensions, and customizations.
Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces and data conversions.
Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide post-go-live support.
Recommend best practices to improve manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Mentor junior consultants and business users on Oracle manufacturing functionality.
