About The Position

DMAS is updating the Financial Management System (FMS) in our new modular Medicaid Enterprise System (MES). FMS houses several functions including an Oracle EBS based accounting system and a Third Party Liability (TPL) system. The upgrade of FMS will focus on adjustments to the accounting system and implementing a case management system for TPL.

Requirements

• 5 Years Experience as project lead for complex projects
• 5 Years Experience with automated workflow systems
• 1 Years Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
• 5 Years Medicaid knowledge or experience
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to collect business requirements.
• Demonstrated experience working in a project management office or supporting projects.
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information, as well as clearly presenting this information to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter.
• Experience serving as project lead for complex projects.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent change.
• Experience working independently, effectively managing multiple tasks and directional changes
• Interpersonal skills, communication, facilitation and presentation (written and oral) skills

Nice To Haves

• 3 Years Exp with Project management support
• 3 Years Oracle Financials
• Experience working with automated workflow systems and Medicaid is a plus.
• Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, Visio and PowerPoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathering business requirements from stakeholders
• Develops and/or contributes to project reports including but not limited to: project status, budget, and dashboards.
• Ability to capture key elements in brainstorming sessions, generate group member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals
