About The Position

The Oracle EPM IT Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level solutions using Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite, such as PBCS (Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service), FCCS (Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud Service), and ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service). The role bridges business and IT, ensuring that EPM solutions meet both functional requirements and technical standards.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 6-7 years of relevant experience
  • 6-7 years in Oracle EPM, with 3–4 years in consulting or senior technical roles
  • Deep knowledge of FCCS, ARCS, PBCS, and related modules; experience with EPM Automate, Smart View, SQL, scripting (Groovy), and integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, GAAP/IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and close workflows.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science/Application, Information Systems, or a related field required.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle EPM certifications are a plus
  • Experience working in healthcare is strongly desired.

  • Masters in Computer Science/Application, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including financial planning, budgeting, consolidation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Oversee end-to-end EPM implementations — from requirements gathering to deployment — including hands-on development, cube design, dimension/hierarchy management, and automation scripting.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Oracle EPM with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, NetSuite) and other enterprise tools.
  • Review and approve Technical Specifications, define integration points, and ensure adherence to ERP standards.
  • Partner with Oracle to plan and test patches/upgrades to avoid production issues.
  • Own EPM configuration across modules, maintain accurate documentation, and support cutover/deployment plans.
  • Prioritize system performance, data integrity, and scalability in architecture decisions.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users during critical financial processes.
  • Guide to junior team members in best practices for EPM configuration, development, and implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain risk management strategies related to financial operations.
