About The Position

CGI is looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong Oracle EPM and Finance Modernization experience to lead a major finance transformation initiative. The PM will work closely with business and technology stakeholders and will be responsible for driving delivery with the implementation vendor.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of overall IT / Finance transformation experience.
  • 7–10+ years of Project or Program Management experience.
  • Strong experience with Oracle EPM / Finance modernization programs.
  • Experience leading at least 2–3 Oracle EPM implementations or modernization initiatives.
  • Strong experience managing system integrators / third-party implementation vendors.
  • Good understanding of Finance processes and EPM capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience working with Finance, IT, business, and executive leadership.
  • Strong experience with project governance, RAID management, dependency management, planning, and executive reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Oracle EPM Cloud capabilities such as Planning, Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDM), or related modules.
  • Experience managing complex data and integration dependencies.
  • PMP or similar project/program management certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for an Oracle EPM / Finance Modernization initiative.
  • Drive the implementation vendor to ensure milestones, deliverables, quality, and timelines are met.
  • Develop and manage the integrated project plan, schedule, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Manage risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and action items (RAID).
  • Coordinate across Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and the implementation vendor.
  • Facilitate governance meetings, status reviews, and executive reporting.
  • Drive timely decisions and proactively resolve delivery issues and dependencies.
  • Manage scope, schedule, change control, and overall project health.
  • Coordinate requirements, design, testing, business readiness, cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition.
