About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our IT Product Development team at Marsh as an Oracle EPM Analyst. This role will be based in Toronto. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience in implementing Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS/PBCS) or Hyperion Planning or Essbase Applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional knowledge of financial systems and processes, as well as a deep understanding of accounting principles such as GAAP, GASP, FASB, and FASAB.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in implementing EPBCS/PBCS or Hyperion Planning or Essbase Applications.
  • Strong functional knowledge of financial systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in EPBCS Standard dimensions, member formulas, and customizations, along with creating complex business rules.
  • Good working knowledge of EPM Automate.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of the functional aspects of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, currency translations, inter-company eliminations, and consolidation accounting under various GAAPs.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure EPBCS/PBCS or Hyperion Planning or Essbase Applications, including building metadata, designing web forms, conducting data reconciliation, building dashboards, and automating business rules.
  • Gather business requirements, design and prototype solutions, conduct testing, provide training, define support procedures and SLAs, and implement robust and scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the creation of member formulas and any customizations in EPBCS, as well as the creation of complex business rules such as custom consolidations/aggregations, custom currency conversions, and dynamic calculations.
  • Build integration artifacts in Cloud Data Management and FDMEE, including locations, maps, custom/import scripts, and handling file-related or custom automation using Python Scripts.
  • Develop scripts using Python/Groovy/CDM APIs for scripting purposes.
  • Conduct testing, including system, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing, and prepare deliverables such as design documents, test documentation, training materials, and administration/procedural guides.
  • Utilize excellent Excel and VB Scripting skills to support various tasks.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
