About The Position

The Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Specialist (T018-Oracle Cloud ERP B2R) is responsible for solving business problems, business architecture, process optimization, business rules, business cases, business requirements, organizational change (communications), and UAT. This role requires 7+ years of experience. The specialist formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. The primary focus is on the Budget to Report (B2R) process within Oracle Cloud ERP. The role involves understanding and documenting current business procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and providing hands-on business process requirements analysis. Collaboration with internal departments and external resources is key for planning, designing, and implementing financial systems solutions. A deep understanding of the organization's current state is necessary before recommending changes related to implementing new business solutions. The Business System Analyst is responsible for knowledge transfer of business requirements to application developers, making cogent arguments for recommended courses of action, and identifying new business patterns to gain a significant advantage. The analyst must understand various requirements gathering methods, translate business needs into IT requirements and functional design specifications, and foster trust between Business and IT teams. They will assist in identifying and implementing software solutions, provide application support for business users, and write conversion, interface, reports, and extension functional design specifications. Experience supporting data cleanup, data conversion, reconciliation activities, and month-end/year-end closing activities is essential. The analyst will also review design documents from other analysts, write white papers and solution recommendations, and support testing and training. The role involves devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and desired results, including analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into system requirements specifications.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • 7+ Years of Software Development Lifecycle experience
  • 7+ years of requirements gathering and documentation experience
  • 7+ years of MS World/Visio/Excel/Word/PowerPoint experience
  • 7+ years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience
  • 7+ years of experience working as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert/SME
  • 7+ years of experience with month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation
  • 3+ Years of Oracle ERP Cloud General Ledger modules
  • Expertise within the Oracle Cloud ERP suite. Specific expertise is required within the following modules: General Ledger and Budgetary Control.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and successful work experience (10 years)

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud Application is highly desirable
  • Experience with Public Sector implementations is highly desirable
  • CPA Certification is highly desirable
