About The Position
The OR Tech works variable day and evening shifts, which may be scheduled as 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. Call is required during specified weekday and weekend overnight or weekend coverage periods. Weekend and holiday work may be required based on unit needs. The posting requests confirmation of the traveler’s experience with eyes, the DaVinci Xi robot, liver transplant, neuro, and ortho. Parking information is provided for several permit options at or near the Wexner Medical Center.
Requirements
- Three years of experience.
- BLS required.
- Level 1 Trauma experience required.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Weekend and holiday work as needed.
- Call required: Monday–Friday 2100–0630; Saturday and Sunday 0630–1900 or 1830–0700.
Nice To Haves
- Previous travel experience.
- Experience with eyes, the DaVinci Xi robot, liver transplant, neuro, and ortho (the posting requests confirmation but does not specify whether each is required or preferred).
