Position in this function coordinates daily clinical operations of the ASC area assigned either post anesthesia care unit (PACU) and preoperative area in accordance with established Federal, State, and JCAHO regulations and Center policies and procedures. Coordinates with Managers and Director actions related to the clinical and nursing activities such as staffing, Policy and Procedure, educational activities in the preoperative / PACU area, promoting Quality Improvement Program, Infection Control and Safety plans. Coordinates proper use of equipment, supplies and controlled drugs, and accurate medical record documentation. Requirements

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher bachelor’s in nursing
  • Texas RN license
  • American Heart Association Basic Life
  • 5+ years RN experience in the operating room
  • 2+ years of experience in Management
  • Single Unit
  • Basic computer Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • ACLS and PALS
  • RN experience in Pre-Op, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Emergency Room (ER), Infusion Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital setting

Responsibilities
