Requirements
- High School diploma or high school equivalency diploma
- Computer skills
- Ability to utilize photocopier/fax machine
Nice To Haves
- Some college or secretarial experience
- Knowledge of instrumentation and equipment used in OR procedures
- Medical billing
- Standard ordering/receiving transactions
- Distribution systems relating to movement of material and people
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and updating surgical inventory costs and billing
- Entering patient charges for OR, SDS and PACU
- Updating MD preference cards
- Ordering supplies
- Scheduling OR cases
