Optometry Technician II
About The Position
Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill an Optometry Technician II position. This is a full-time position based out of the CompreCare Health Center located in San Jose, CA. The Optometry Technician II reports to the Optometry Director: assists the Optometrists and performs a variety of tasks related to the ordering and dispensing of ophthalmic prescriptions. Also assures appropriate reimbursement for services and lenses, including collection of fees. This recruitment will remain open until filled. Requirements
- Two (2) or more year’s institutional training with degree certified and certification or five (5) years’ experience.
- Interact in a courteous helpful manner with patients, clients and staff and to work effectively with a diverse population in a teamwork environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in optometric clinical procedures and theories.
Nice To Haves
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, preferred.
