Our model is built to support you as the provider: we supply state-of-the-art portable equipment, handle all scheduling and billing, and provide an assistant onsite so you can focus entirely on patient care. We’re seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide meaningful care to geriatric patients. This is a perfect fit for an OD looking to supplement their schedule, earn additional income, and make a direct impact on an underserved population — without any admin burden. CMC manages all logistics. You show up, deliver great care, and leave knowing you made someone’s day a little clearer.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Kentucky Optometry license
- Ability to work independently in facility-based environments
Nice To Haves
- Experience with geriatric or mobile care is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams for seniors and underserved populations
- Diagnose and manage a range of ocular conditions
- Prescribe lenses and collaborate with facility staff to support resident needs
- Provide education on preventive eye care and condition management
- Create a respectful, comfortable, and patient-centered environment
