About The Position

20/20 Vision Associates Optometry is seeking a Full-Time Optometrist to join their growing, modern, and technology-driven practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced eye care, including general optometry, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, medical management of glaucoma, sports vision, low vision, neuro-rehabilitation vision training, headache, and digital vision syndrome treatment with Nurolenses. The optometrist will care for a broad range of patients using the latest diagnostic techniques and advanced technology, supported by a highly trained staff. The practice is located in Riverside, California, known for its scenic beauty, historical attractions, and proximity to major Southern California destinations.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
  • Skilled, compassionate Optometrist with excellent patient communication skills
  • Passionate forever learner and a team player
  • Interest in specialty contact lenses

Responsibilities

  • Care for a broad range of patients in a modern, preventative, and technology-driven eye care center.
  • Utilize the latest diagnostic techniques and products.
  • Work with advanced technology, including digital phoropters, OCT, wide-field fundus photography, tonometry, MPOD, visual fields, and other technologies supporting ocular specialties.
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams.
  • Provide general optometric care, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, medical management of glaucoma, sports vision, low vision, neuro-rehabilitation vision training, headache, and digital vision syndrome treatment with Nurolenses.
