About The Position

20/20 Vision Associates Optometry is seeking a Full-Time Optometrist to join their growing, modern, and technology-driven practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide a full suite of services, including general optometric care, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, medical management of glaucoma, sports vision, low vision, neuro-rehabilitation vision training, headache, and digital vision syndrome treatment with Nurolenses. The practice is committed to advanced eye care that exceeds expectations and focuses on patient-centered care and community involvement. The optometrist will use the latest diagnostic techniques and products, with access to advanced technology such as digital phoropters, OCT, wide-field fundus photography, tonometry, MPOD, and visual fields. The role involves caring for a broad range of patients, with an average of about 15 comprehensive exams daily, supported by a highly trained staff.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Responsibilities

  • Care for a broad range of patients in a modern, preventative, and technology-driven eye care center.
  • Utilize the latest diagnostic techniques and products.
  • Work with advanced technology, including digital phoropters, OCT, wide-field fundus photography, tonometry, MPOD, visual fields, and other technologies supporting ocular specialties.
  • Perform approximately 15 comprehensive exams daily.
