About The Position

Eye Care Assoc of Michiana, a leading provider of medical eye care and optical services in Northern Indiana with locations in South Bend and New Carlisle, is seeking a full-time optometrist. This role offers clinical autonomy and a strong focus on medical optometry. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and supported by expert staff, allowing for the highest standard of diagnostic and therapeutic care. The practice has a strong reputation for excellence and a commitment to advancing modern optometry, offering services in primary care, pediatrics, glaucoma management, myopia control, low vision, LASIK & refractive surgery co-management, and dry eye disease. The clinic features advanced equipment such as Visual Field, OCT, Optos, Oculus Keratograph, Diopsys VEP/ERG, Adapt Dx, FDT, AR, NCT, Pachymetry, and Tonometer. Additionally, there is a large optical with numerous frames and a significant contact lens practice, including medically necessary and specialty lenses.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree
  • Desire for clinical autonomy
  • Strong passion for medical optometry
  • Ability to work to the highest standard of diagnostic and therapeutic care
  • Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment (Visual Field, OCT, Optos, Oculus Keratograph, Diopsys VEP/ERG, Adapt Dx, FDT, AR, NCT, Pachymetry, Tonometer)
  • Experience with a large contact lens practice, including medically necessary/specialty contact lenses

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in primary care, pediatrics, glaucoma management, myopia control, low vision, LASIK & refractive surgery co-management, and dry eye disease.
