About The Position

Vision Today Optometry, located in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join their growing team. The practice specializes in primary eye care, diabetic eye evaluations, glaucoma management, keratoconus contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, and pediatric eye exams. Requirements

• Holds an active Florida Optometrist license
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages and visual needs
• Values teamwork and professionalism
• Stays informed on the latest advancements in optometry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoys building lasting patient relationships

Responsibilities

• See approximately 18 patients daily
• Average about three patients per hour
• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans
• Educate patients on eye health and vision care
