About The Position

An enthusiastic and dedicated Optometrist is sought to join a thriving, disease-oriented clinic serving a diverse community. This opportunity is ideal for new graduates eager to launch their careers and for experienced professionals passionate about ocular disease management. The clinic offers a welcoming environment with a steady patient flow (approximately 15-18 exams per day) and full support from experienced technicians and front desk personnel, allowing the optometrist to focus on patient care. It is a vibrant, team-oriented workplace committed to high-quality service, utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. Training is provided for candidates unfamiliar with specific equipment.

Requirements

Enthusiastic and dedicated Optometrist.
Passion for ocular disease management.
Willingness to work flexible shifts on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays between 11 am and 6 pm.
Must have a car due to limited public transportation.
Ability to adapt to paper charting and learn new EHR/EMR/POS systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct approximately 15-18 eye exams per day.
Focus on patient care with support from technicians and front desk personnel.
Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including Maestro OCT, Fundus camera, Visual field analyzer, Autorefractor, B-scan, and Icare.
Perform in-person and virtual exams (via Zoom or FaceTime).
Adapt to paper charting with plans to implement Nextech EHR/EMR/POS.
