Part-Time Optometrist | Outpatient Clinic Setting
About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide care in several structured, outpatient clinic-based environments in Los Angeles, California. The role serves senior populations in coordinated, community-focused settings and functions as an extension of the clinical team. Clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow in a team-based, value-based care environment. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics so the optometrist can focus on vision care. The position emphasizes quality over volume, schedule consistency, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery. The schedule is one to two days per week with flexible weekday scheduling and no nights or weekends. Compensation is $900 per day, and the position is an independent contractor (1099) arrangement.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
- Active California optometry license.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
- Comfort practicing in outpatient clinic environments.
