About The Position
A rapidly growing optometry practice is seeking an optometrist to provide routine and medical optometry care, with an approximate case mix of 60% vision and 40% medical. The primary location is Chesapeake, Virginia, with opportunities to cover Virginia Beach. Techs support the practice so the optometrist can focus on patient care. The position offers a base salary of $150,000–$190,000 plus a 1% bonus on retail sales from the practice’s patients. Benefits include a health insurance stipend and a 401(k). The practice has two digital exam lanes, OCT, and Optos equipment. Applicants must have a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school and a valid state optometry license or be in the process of obtaining one.
