About The Position

This is a full-scope medical optometry position within a concierge-style private practice located in Inlet Beach, Florida. The role involves diagnosing and managing ocular disease, providing comprehensive eye care, and focusing on quality patient care rather than high-volume production. The average patient volume is 15-18 patients daily, supported by a dedicated ophthalmic technician and a virtual scribe. This is an opportunity to practice advanced medical optometry in a desirable coastal community.

Requirements

• Doctor Of Optometry (OD) Degree REQUIRED
• Active Florida Optometry License REQUIRED Or Ability To Obtain
• Strong Clinical Skills In Medical Optometry REQUIRED
• Experience Diagnosing And Managing Ocular Disease REQUIRED
• Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills REQUIRED
• Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
• Diagnose and manage glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration
• Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans
• Educate patients on eye health and disease prevention
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards
