We’re seeking a patient-focused Part-Time Optometrist to provide essential eye care services to geriatric and underserved populations. Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD)
- Active Oklahoma Optometry License
- Strong communication, professionalism, and empathy
- Ability to work independently while adapting to facility-based environments
Nice To Haves
- Experience with geriatric populations or mobile care is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams for geriatric and underserved patients
- Diagnose, manage, and treat ocular conditions
- Prescribe corrective lenses and collaborate with facility staff
- Educate patients and caregivers on preventive eye care and condition management
- Maintain a respectful, comfortable, and patient-centered clinical experience
