We exist to help individuals remain independent at home or in a community setting for as long as they desire and it is safe and feasible for them to do so. Our ADRC Counselors act as advocates by providing information and referral services enabling clients to make informed decisions based on available options. Options Counselors provide phone counseling and in-home assessments to better understand the needs of the individuals calling for services and supports. They must be aware of the resources available in the communities and supports and services an individual may or may not be eligible for within the local, State, and Federal systems, as well as the regulations that govern these supports. It is an amazing opportunity to make an incredible difference in the life of a senior or disabled individual. Supports we can connect them to could allow them to remain at home and enjoying their independence, keep the healthy and safe, and even connected to others to prevent isolation.
