About The Position

The PIO Installer is responsible for driving vehicles from the staging area into the Production Shop, performing accessory installations, and maintaining a clean and organized work area at the end of each shift. Duties include installing all account-specific accessories in accordance with manufacturer specifications and standard work instructions. This position operates in a production environment with established quality, safety, and productivity goals, requiring consistent performance to meet daily production targets.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of and ability to safely use basic hand tools and equipment, including drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, and other tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow written instructions and work orders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, supervisors, management, and other departments
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
  • HS Diploma/G.E.D
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Ability to Bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs., depending on the location, throughout shift.
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment for up to 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of indirect job experience preferred
  • Quality control training experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install vehicle accessories and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures
  • Install items such as tow hitches, side steps, trim pieces, mud guards, roof racks, etc.
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical installations as required
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment
  • Inspect vehicles before and after installation to identify existing damage or installation concerns
  • Verify all accessories are properly installed, secured, and fully functional
  • Follow installation instructions, work standards, and quality control procedures
  • Follow all company policies, safety requirements, and vehicle-handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Meet daily production, quality, and safety objectives
  • Report damaged parts, missing components, or vehicle issues supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of vehicle processing operations
