About The Position
As an Optical Coater at MKS, you will partner with the engineering and cleaning team to perform coating operations on parts, materials, and components, while documenting results. This position reports to the Operations and Manufacturing Manager.
Requirements
- Two or more years of related experience.
- Experience using inspection tools and devices such as calipers, micrometers, Keyence microscope, height gauges, and UV/VIS.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform coating operations on incoming parts, materials, and components, and document results.
- Coordinate the collection and disposition of coated material.
- Determine or assist in determining methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for coating and inspection.
- Work from written procedures, drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Perform inspection and spectroscopy measurements where necessary.
