About The Position

The Powder Coater prepares parts for painting, rotates through other work cells as instructed by a Supervisor or Cell Leader, and packs finished products for shipment. The role maintains a safe, clean work area, participates in identifying and implementing cell improvements, and performs duties in accordance with established quality standards. The schedule is A shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. The employee must be available to train on A shift before moving to C shift.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills, including the ability to read and understand MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• At least 1 year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of powder coating or industrial coating experience.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and read measuring devices.
• Availability to train on A shift before moving to C shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
