About The Position
We are looking for an Optics Cleaner who will be responsible for handling, cleaning and inspecting various substrate materials, checking surfaces to be free of particles using high intensity light illumination and microscope inspection. Loading substrates into fixturing prior to coating mirrors, lens, prisms, crystals windows.
Requirements
- Motor skills and ability to hold small parts with provided tooling.
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Attention to detail, visual acuity, and manual dexterity.
- Experience cleaning and inspecting: Ti-Sa, BBO, LBO crystal substrates and knowledge of thin film coating process.
- Experience with ultrasonic clean line, UVO cleaning
Responsibilities
- Review prints to check physical dimensions, checking cleaning and coating fixturing and following cleaning instruction’s / processes.
- Load and unload precision substrates from cleaning and coating fixturing.
- Inspection of optics pre and post coat.
- Documentation record keeping, updating reports in database.
- Maintain a 6S work environment.
- Perform daily tasks inside a controlled environment using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
